Introduction Isn't it ironic that there is an obesity problem in the USA, and yet people are starving throughout the world? What if money for a weight loss program went to impact world hunger, instead of going to support the profitable weight loss industry? WAGH encourages women to build and maintain habits of healthy eating and physical activity for a sustainable lifestyle with the desire to use global resources responsibly. WAGH was created in 2008.
Our Tandem Purpose 1. To raise funds for a reliable organization that works to address issues of poverty and hunger, especially those impacting women and children.
2. To encourage women through shared accountability and personal support to build and maintain habits of healthy eating and physical activity for a sustainable lifestyle with the desire to use global resources responsibly.
Levels of Involvement • Home Group Participant • Area Host: coordinate a local group with minimal effort. • Area Facilitator: encourage others to share at monthly small group gatherings. The format is the same each month and simple to facilitate.
